Please, ignore whatever she said about breastfeeding it was factually wrong and offensive and I’m sorry someone has been allowed to talk about breastfeeding like that on TV and invalidate women’s experiences and choices when it comes to feeding. You are not selfish for breastfeeding your baby at 6 months, 12 months, 24 months. I’m so angry and feel so hurt for the small minority of women who make it beyond 6 months, to be made to feel like their decision is selfish when they are trying to do what’s right for their baby.
